The US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has verified and recognized Veterans Trading Company, Inc. as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). VTC is eligible to participate in Veterans First Contracting Program opportunities sponsored by the VA.
The federal government intends to award up to 5% of all federal contracting dollars to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses each year. Competition is limited for certain federal contract opportunities to businesses that participate in the SDVOSB program.
Partnering with SDVOSB recognized companies will aid your organization eligibillity to compete for Department of Defense and VA sponsored contracts.
The aim of the Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program, enacted into law as part of the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997, is to help small businesses in the urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. AEROSPACE STANDARD AS6081:2012
This standard was created in response to a significant and increasing volume of fraudulent/counterfeit electronics parts entering the aerospace supply chain; posing significant performance, reliability, and safety risks. This quality standard provides uniform requirements, practices, and methods to mitigate the risks of purchasing and supplying fraudulent/counterfeit electronic parts.
The proliferation of counterfeit parts infiltrating the supply chain has become a critical issue in the defense industries. Manufacturers are taking significant steps to ensure their supply chain is insulated against this serious threat. VTC has taken a proactive approach by aligning and certifying its supply chain policies, procurements, and methods to the AS6081 aerospace standard; ensuring our customers that all necessary precautions and mitigation requirements are being conducted to protect their supply chain and ends customers.
