As Women History Month comes to an end for 2022, VTC would like to give recognition to those who are closely aligned to us.
Did you know……
– 17.2% of Dept of Defense active-duty military are women (as of 2020)?
– 21.1% of the Reserve & Guard are women?
– 9% of the Veterans in 2018 were women? That percent is expected to jump to 17% by 2040.
– Veterans Trading Company employees a workforce that is 63% female across the United States?
– 6% of VTC’s employee base includes Veterans – 25% of our Veterans are women.
– VTC operates with 7 profit & loss centers. Of those 7 P&L centers, 5 of them are directed by women.
Please take a minute to thank the active-duty servicewomen (and servicemen) along with all Veterans for their bravery and sacrifice so that we can be free. A special thank you to the women who faced many obstacles before us, carving a path for all women and giving generations to come strong female role models to admire and emulate.
And last but not least, a very special THANK YOU to the women on the VTC Team that make us successful as a company! We would not be where we are today without you.
